Richard Gaudiosi, Public Affairs Specialist, Social Security Administration - As a spokesman for the Social Security Administration in Southeastern PA, Richard conducts presentations designed to promote a better understanding of Social Security benefits and services. Also, he serves as the agency's key contact with social service and government agencies, major employers, financial professionals, and the media. In his career with Social Security, Mr. Gaudiosi has also worked as a claims representative and served as the Disability Work Incentives Expert in the Philadelphia Downtown SSA office. He has received numerous award for his work in both the aging and disability communities. Monique Scott, Health Insurance Specialist - Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Monique is a health insurance specialist who works in the Office of Program Operations and Local Engagement (OPOLE) in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Philadelphia Office. She has worked at CMS for over 20 years. Her responsibilities include a variety of activities such as, but not limited to, conducting Medicare outreach and education throughout the region with a specific focus on Delaware, the District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania and providing technical assistance to federal, state, and local agencies and organizations about the Medicare program. Monique also serves as the regional office liaison with the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the regional congressional liaison. The Medicare presentation will provide a basic overview of the Medicare program including Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance), Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance), Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap), Medicare Advantage, Medicare drug coverage, programs to help people with limited income and resources, and related resources.
